Finally ...

Whooo Hooo is all i can say

Decided to give the Raw Diet another go and went out bought some Fresh Chicken Legs and some bones and my god Charlie actually ate the raw chicken leg . You could have picked me up when i seen her really enjoying it.

Now i can begin to feed a raw diet again knowing she will eat it. Going for one day kibble one day raw until i find my feet

Ah the lure of raw food! You know it makes sense!!!

Just fed Harley Lamb mince outside and 2 raw chicken thighs. The wee JRT too got some over the fence (shuuussshhh!)

i can't feed outside so i have to spring clean my kitchen each time they eat but they are worth it. They are eating bones right now in my lounge with my entire carpet covered in old throws so it doesn't get marked LOL - i thin i am crazy but they are loving it

Great news, I'm so pleased. Each dog that eats a natural diet I view as a victory lol

Regarding the chicken thighs, were they crushed or minced before giving them to Harley?

I just gave mine whole chicken legs and trust me i did ponder before doing it but they all managed to eat them crushing the bones happily whilst i stood there wanting to

I'm still unsure of weight bearing bones like drum sticks, my two demolish chicken wings in seconds tho!

My boys are kike your guys and two bites and chicken wings are gone lips are being licked .... the whole leg took a good 5 mins for each of them. I fed them two each except Charlie as she got one.

Well that's good to hear, i was in tescos earlier and they do large bags of frozen drum sticks for only a few quid, i was too unsure to get them but will get next time!

In my butchers today i bought 10 chicken legs 2kg in weight of £5. Not sure if that is good or bad but i will go back for more tomorrow now i know the dogs eat them

I'd shop around at a few butchers, i did today and bought some bones which the guys are loving and the chicken as mentioned above. I also bought some lambs liver in my local little Tesco, £1 a pack - havn't opened it yet (not looking forward to it so putting it off till tomorrow )
