i voted for its all in how they are raised.

IT IS ALL HOW THEY ARE RAISED! If I had children and tought them to steal, kill, and hurt others, should they be outlawed, or kept from breeding. If a certain type of animal or human is prone to being violent it is COMPLETELY due to environment. I mean how many murderers and criminals get off every day for the EXACT same argument. Outlawing them is the governments answer to a minor complaint, without doing any actual research. How much of our money do politicians spend on meals?......but can't put any time into something important.

Its how they are raised!! Just sad all the yobs out there need a tough looking dog to make themselves look hard and make them agressive :evil: Grrrr dont get me started. Any dog in the wrong hands or not controled properly is Dangouras, the worse ive seen a bloody JR, they are forever causing trouble with my dogs!!

yip, all in how they are raised,, now and again you get a bad apple but you get that in any breed, too much hype to do with fighting dogs, once had a jack russle that was a viscious wee !$$% and you never hear folk trying to ban them,, lets start a ban on yorkshire terriers too cos they just as viscious

this is a subject that really gets me mad...

pit bull type/ pit type, could be a lab crossed with a staff, a lab crossed with a boxer with no pit what so ever in it and could still be destroyed under our current laws in the uk. makes my blood boil..

i know what you mean my old dog was staffy X lab i think she would of be in the pitbull type people use to call her a pitbull too but she never had any pitbull in her

Pit Bulls are lovely dogs if brought up properly, as well as fighting dogs they were bred to be good with humans and used to look after the children. It is idiots who turn them nasty.

One of my dogs, JRT/Whippet is terrified of other dogs now thanks to 2 Weimaraners who attacked him. This owner now has 2 small dogs now and they are even more aggressive.
