In SBT's black and white is my favorite color, but not in most other dogs

I like all colours - would have one of each if i could - i have a black and a blue - cant put both so as she is a recessive of black will have to put black

lol, i will put all i love, i like blues + fawns but also own black too.

I must say though i go gaga for a pied in any colour!!!!

Blue for me... but not solid. I think the white on them gives the blue more definition.

just wanted to say 'brown' isnt a recognised colour for SBTs and neither is 'tri coloured'!!!
plus blue is actually a gene dilution of black and you will not find a blue with the correct pigmentation in nose and eye rims. so therefore this colour is penalised, generally why blues are not shown.

I love Tonks colour - which is very very dark brown. I know it is not a recognised colour, but could have had my choice of brindle or black and white pups but chose Tonks because she had the right personality for our family situation and i prefered her colour.

Crownbull i think people do know which colours are standard and which aren't but some people, like myself, aren't paricularly interested in KC standards.

although I have two black brindles now, my first girl was red, and is my prefered colour.

i understand if you dont care much for the KC standards but i only class a dog as a true SBT if it is registered with the KC. so to say preferred colours for an SBT should only refer to the standard colours!!

I didn't say i don't care for KC standard dogs, but i didn't choose to have one as my pet. I don't care for people when they feel the need to correct everybody in a way that seems that they think their opinion is the correct one. Surely it's up to the OP to chose what they put on their post, and if you don't agree with it then you do not have to take part.

I couldn't care less whether people call my dog a STB, a mongrel or a crossbreed, she's a dog and my pet. Either we are unfortunate and there is more than one person who feels the need to push their point continually about KC standards in the way you do on or you have just joined the forum from one of the other SBT sites. Can't believe you don't find it tedious - i do. Welcome to the forum.

i love all staffys kc reg or not and any colour as well i have had a brindle and a black and whatever colour my jazz is
i just wish i had a true sbt now as my jazz sounds like a mongrel do you think i should have her destroyed to protect your beliefs

I dont see the problem the Q was Most like colour in dogs i dont see anywhere it must be kc registered so please dont make a point out of this simple poll if you wanne make a topic of it it`s fine but do it in the debate section

i wasnt saying that KC reg dogs are 'better' than non KC reg dogs!!! catrinsparkles you said you werent interested in KC standards, which is fine - a pet is a pet regardless of papers!!! i use staffy forums under the same username so not trying to decieve anyone as you are implying...i just like to see different peoples opinions.

staffy tel i think you are over reacting...a dog is a dog, purebred or mongrel...and no, i dont think any dog should be put down purebred or crossed with hundereds of breeds. the amount of dogs in rescue is horrendous and if you have a non reg dog then well done for keeping one dog out of a shelter!

a lot of people on here seem extremely touchy and defensive...perhaps you should ask questions of me to explain my post before you jump down my throat.

you do come over as a bit blunt crownbull...lol but like i've said in past sometimes type of media we use to convey our thoughts don't actually do them justice.

On topic my favorite color is RED and the blue but totally black is nice to

i know both of jazz's parents and they are both 100% sbt i only want her for a familly pet the same as the 3 other dogs i have owned
two of these were rescue dogs from our local kennel an english bull terrier and a sbt

i love the blues and reds but would take any staffy in to give it a good home
