Depends if you feed high or low grade commercial food IMO, my two are fed Orijen and Wainwrights and regularly fed raw meat, chicken wings etc!
Think i'll have to vote commercial as it's their main diet!

I voted commercial.

However only as it is a diet that offers me the easy way out of knowing that what i am feeding contains all the right amount of suppliments, vitamins, minerals etc that my dogs need.

BARF is a great diet if fed correctly

I have voted for commercial.

As you probably all know, I feed my two on Arden Grange and they both thrive on it.

They also get sardines mixed in and chicken wings etc which they love.

If I had the space etc then I would probably consider feeding a BARF diet, but as it is, I do not have enough storgae space to do so.

Commercial food such as AG is so easy to get hold of, delivered to my door and a 15kg bag last my two about 6 weeks, so it is very cheap for me too feed this kind of diet.

All the dogs I have met which have been fed on a BARF diet look amazing - but tbh, my guys look great too! If they didn't then that would be another desiding factor to change.

I haven't voted at all lol, I really like the idea of a BARF diet, but it takes up a lot of room and a lot of planning. I am also concerned that I wouldn't know how much is enough, or indeed too much to feed if there was some sort of standard such as x amount of kg of meat and x amount of kg of veg per x amount of kg of weight then I would possibly consider it as I do think with 4 dogs it would probably work out cheaper.

i voted for commercial ,i dont like the idea of preparing the barf diet i wouldnt know where to start and my Trainer put me off talking about tripe and the colour of it sick , Trouble has a delicate stomach even down to the flavours of food can affect him he has harringtons and is fine on the lamb and rice flavour but if he has the chicken and veg flavour lets say the other end is double the sick sick , so in light of this i just dont think the barf diet would suit him much

You would just have to steer clear of chicken. No major issue.

Mine is on a barf diet and loves it. In fact he turns his nose uo at kibble and tin foods are a sure fire way to give your dog invoking flatulance as well as very horrid and more invoking stools to clean up.
