collar biter
Hi I hope someone can help, Gough has gotten into this bad habit of biting onto the collars of dogs he his playing with and holding on and pulling with all his strenghth and in true staffie style will not let go no matter what i do. I have to take the other dog's collar off before he lets go.
He seems to be selective on the dogs he does this to, but i am not sure why. He did it again today, to a boxer, when i took him for his walk. The other dogs generally don't mind but their owners get a little peeved - which i can understand.
Once they have put the collar back on their dog they're gone. If he keeps this up i will not be able to let him off his leash anymore. thanks

Either what Steves says or put a basket muzzle on him so he can't go for the collars but then other dog owners will think he is a vicious Staffy so you can't win.
