So do I, He's on an urgent list at the pound wich normaly means 5 to 7 days Poor little fella. Im hoping last hope can step in and give him longer at the rescue but that means finding a good home for another dog first so space can be made for him. Im really greatful of rescues when I see dogs like this, but they can only save so manny.

The Staffy problem is horendous at the moment, Rochdale Dog Rescue have 9 in at the moment and are really struggling to keep them alive.

Dogs Today has done an article on the Staffy problem in the issue just out.

I do hope he finds a home, but he will be extremely lucky if he does

Hi Steve, look at this fantastic looking fella, he was found straying almost a month ago and believe it or not the rescue found his owners through his chip and kennel reg. 30 mins before his arranged collection time the owners called and told them to keep him ?

Just dont figuer eh? what a fine looking dog he is and obviously looked after well ?

there so many crazy people in this world if they cant look after pet they shouldn't be aloud to have kids

Here in Australia, i think it rare to find Staffys at the pound. They are a popular breed here, hopefully it stays that way. they are so popular that they are sometimes being stollen from homes too. Just met a lady who's 6mth staffy was stollen from her backyard. Its a worry.

I cant believe people steal dogs from backyards...ive heard of that happening here too. But hopefully it never happens to us

Yeah Molly and Esther, stafford theft has been rife for some time in the UK too, some end up being fought.
Whole litters have been burgled from homes, its very sad
Recently on the news a whole litter of British bull dogs were stolen, they were'nt even weaned and were only small. The poor dam is pining for her pups. Obviously they fetch up to £2000 and it was a litter of five.The owner has offered a large reward.
Must be someone who knows the breed and about hand rearing them too, which makes it even worse
Comes to something when our dogs arent safe in our own homes anymore They can also be taken from you out on a walk, its sad times we live in

Yes that would be nice if it was this 1 but I dont have that info ? it was either 1 of three forums or maybe a coallation of them all that he was posted at! so this is a good sign. At least we dont go unseen

Im glad this guy got saved as his time was really up close at the pound, so I wish him all the best in his new life
