Please help save dogs in a pound, most are Staffies or Xs

With 7 dogs in boarding kennels which costs £4 per night per dog, and 7 in the pound, most Staffies or Staffy crosses, who could be put to sleep if we can't keep the funds coming, Rochdale Dog Rescue is once again asking people to fund The Fantastic, Super Bernie's transport runs between Monday, 5th May 2008 to Saturday, 10th May, inclusive. The Fantastic, Super Bernie was given that name because of the amount of milage she does to get these dogs into rescues all over the country, often out 6 days a week on these runs.

The Fantastic Super Bernie often does in excess of 700 miles a week to get these dogs to the safety of rescues but a we are putting amaximum milage of 500 miles for this. This means that nobody is expected to donate more than £5, obviously if you want to donate more, we are always willing to take it off you

With everything going up the way it has recently, many won't be able to donate this amount, if anyone wants to make a donation, no matter how small it is, even a 1p donated is a 1p more than we have now, please pm me with how much you would like to donate.

RDR rarely receive any adoption fees because we don't rehome straight from the pound, most dogs go to rescues and rightly these get the adoption fees, while these never cover the cost of vaccination, neutering, microchipping, flee treatments etc, they do help. The dogs that go from the pound to boarding, are all vaccinated, neutered etc, ready for any rescue that can take them at a later date.

At the end of the week I will post how many miles that Bernie has done.
