health question

Post by Kiloran on Wed Mar 05, 2008 4:08 pm

Hi there, I am a new member and I was wondering if anyone could help me out with a problem I am having with my Staffie. He is 10 months old and chews absolutly everything he can get hold of. He has developed a swollen pimple like growth on his lip just near his bottom canine. Try as I may I can not get close enough to have a good look as he thinks I am playing and goes crazy. I think he may have a splinter that has gone septic. Has this happened to anyone else?

Kiki

Hi Kiloran i cannot view your link, but as all his teeth should have been replaced with his adult teeth by now, it could be infection or an abcess etc i'd take him to the vets to be on the safe side. Smile

Hi there,
I managed to take him to the vet yesterday and it turns out it was an infected splinter, so all sorted now. Thank you for your advice.
