Re: 5 month old poo play and eating
Hi Kristie, makes me queasy just reading it, i know how you must feel. My girl sampled some come inside and fetched it up over my beige wool chinese rug and i threw it staight out ruined:cry: as steve and stich have said they usually grow out of it. Mine has thankfully. Try spraying it with 'bitter lime spray' from most pet stores. Put it on before she gets the chance the taste will soon put her off. But i have heard some peoples are partial to a bit of horse poo,fox poo, sheep poo etc so youre not alone lol Roxys a real cutie too

your baby blue is cute:)
my problems are at nite time when we are all asleep
she will goto toilet then either try and eat it or take it back to her bed and sleep in it or play with it
i realy do hope she grows out of it
and we have also had to through a 100% wool rug out as she ruined it also

As soon as you get the crate you will see the difference, dogs rarely soil their own bedding. As its only at night its probably seperation anxiety she is uhappy left on her own. Cages are like dens covered on top with a blanket, snug inside with one and a cuddly toy, i think the crate is a good option. Hope it works, i think it will, let us know how she gets on

If only stich, she has chewed several computer leads, playstation3 cable,a duel shock controler, cam phone to comp lead, surround sound speaker wires shes also got through 2 OH work bags, laces in his boots, table coasters, garden hose, two seatbelts, the list goes on shes very sly about it and very fast. We learnt quickly but not quick enough

Re: 5 month old poo play and eating
Hey Roxy,
Ive noticed a similar problem with Tyson. Even tho ive never cought him eating his own poo he does eat his vomit which i think is gross :-& Luckily the times that he has thrown up ive been around and stopped him from eating too much of it, so i can understand yourfrustration. Hopefully crating her will solve the problem.
Good luck

Try putting a few pieces of pineapple in with their dinner. I didn't believe this would work, but it did. It has stopped 4 pups that I know of, so may be worth a try.
