Hi alza, yes my eldest tried it on too little madam. cured her by putting food down if she refused it just picked it back up and left her. I can asure you being a staffy he won't starve for long, i felt really horrid doing it, and wanted to give in but after one missed meal she was soon wolfing it back down. like babies wanting sweets...lol

Maybe you could try some other food. My dog only get raw food, and he never leave any leftovers
And the sideeffects are positive too.

Yeah I agree with Krissy, my boy started getting picky with dry and I read up about raw for a while and decided to go with that. He LOVES it and randomly goes up to his food bowl and licks it just in case he left something. I am very happy with his condition on raw, way more then when he was on dry and mince etc.
Offering just the dry until he eats it is the best way to get him to eat though, feels mean but works!

Natures Menu is excellent I used to feed to Roxy, would still feed it to her but pet shop hiked the price up so changed. A really good food though.

Pedigree chum is full of crap! Its like giving your kids e numbers 100 times a day! Stay away from it if you can!

Re: staffy not eating..dry food!!
Hey I Had the same proplem With my Staffie X She's 7 months She Wouldnt Eat Anything Pal Or Puppy Satchles And Dry Food Would Only Be Eatten If They Where FLOATING In Gravy! I suggest you go to your local butchers and ask if they have any chicken mince for pets its a dollar a kilo and they can eat it raw! Hope This is the sulotion 2 your problem. When she was a real bub she ate this canned chunky mix from Pedigree but that stoped when she was about 2 months. I was super suprised when I seen taht my staffie had been losing hair she was allergic to a plant that causes irritation and there for she lost some of her hair. Hope this helped.

Our Ruby had a similar issue - we feed her James Wellbeloved, but she's stopped eating it dry - now I mix it with warm water to make a delicious gravy for her and she wolfs it down - She goes crazy for the smell when the water hits it - I hate to say it but it actually smells ok, for a dog food

Sorry I'm a newbie and you may have tried this already but... have you tried mixing the wet and dry together really well and starting off with loads of wet and small amounts of dry and then reducing wet and adding dry over a couple of weeks til its all dry this worked for mine but i don't give them any wet tinned food now cuz i have to start all over again!!
