forums with ads

Thumbs down i hate going on forums with ads all over the place, this other staffy forum i am using starting to place google ads in catecorys now grrrrrr that forum is a joke i swear down Thumbs down u dont really make much money from ads anywayz i dont see the point in having ads all over the place it just make your forum a mess

Yea i know exactly what forums you mean, my girlfriend is registered on them. They got like 4000 members and now they are doing everything they can to take money off them, Its not just the ad's you know, they have also added a private forum that only "gold members" can see and made some site that basically looks like a replica of myspace and charge their memebrs for that too rolling on the floor

1 of the mods wasnt too happy about it and stepped down as mod yesterday, without mods they are gonna be screwed coz the admins sit on their asses all day raking in the money while the mods do all their work for them.

More members for us when their forums turn to **** i guess Big grin

Power to you there matey...
I dont like Ads on forums personally..
But do think that if theres any costs incurred running the Forum..
Then the odd advert will help towards the running costs...

yea the odd advert is ok but they have about 10 google ads on there forums spread out between the forum sections so people accidentally click on them surprise
