Hiya,

firstly its a bit hard to say as a very small pup they grow in weird spurts and sometimes look gangly and sometimes look podgy, you won't get e true picture of what he will be like for a few more months and he won't stop growing until he is 3, although by 12 months you'll have a good idea of future size.

Secondly its a bit hard to tell weight wise as he has a coat on what I can see he looks fine, what do you feed him? When he grows up a bit he will have a waist and you should be able to easily feel the last rib, If you want to post a "weight" pic take one from the side and one from the top he looks very very gorgeous and from that pic - like a staffy!

Alfie weighs in at just under 18 kg and is 5 and a half months old. Sometimes he looks very gangly, other times he looks like a proper chunky monkey! (At the moment he has a very chubby tummy having not long had his tea, a chew bone and I have just caught him tucking in to my daughters shoe!!!) Bless Him Smile

Oreo is 15 weeks tomorrow and only weighs 6.5 Kg(1 stone) (Weighed him on wii
fit yesterday ) . He has always been small, when we got
him
at 8 weeks He weighed 1.8 Kg. He looks a little skinny because we were
only feeding him 165 g of dry food a day. Yesterday we upped it to 70g
three times a day instead of 55g three times a day. Its just when I see
him compared to other staffies his age he is MUCH Small like half the
size. He is the same size as a 13 week old standard schnauzer pup at
the park. I want him to be healthy and of a good size when he grows up. People say he has large paws but he doesnt seem like he is going to be big. How do i post pictures? Thanks

Joker was at the vet on friday, and then at 9 weeks he weigh 4,45kg.

I was told the vet had called him a little piglet.

For what I've read here, it seem like a normal weight, or am I wrong?

my basco also weighed in at 5.8 kg for his 12 wk injection, he's been sick though... and weighed in at 6.6kg 2 weeks prior. im hoping he'll get back up.. he has a ferocious appetite and felt really sorry for him when he couldnt eat anything for a few days.
we did get him at 5kg at 8 weeks, so really, he has only gained 1 kg in the month.
is this wrong? should i feed more?

Buster was 20.9kg today (8 months). Really slowed down now but his body shape is changing. Mille is 18.5kg at 2 1/2 ish; she is getting a bit tubby.
