I am so so sorry to hear about Phoebe, it was such a shock reading your post and I am not ashamed to say I cried.
The poem you have posted is so fitting for such a beautiful girl.

We are all in shock and also in tears, its so hard to find something to say that expresses how I feel and how sorry I am.

R.I.P. Phoebe.

Phoebe had been ill for a week or so, I hope you don't mind me doing this NG but I'm cross posting the post from the Staff room, this will tell all members whats going on and you won't have to keep explaining, my apologies if this is the wrong thing to do.


Just to let you all know we had to have Phoebe pts
yesterdayat about 5-30pm.She started with being sick again Thursday
night and as we know now but didn't at the time she had a couple of
seizures.I stayed up with Phoebe all night.We took her back to the vets
Friday afternoon at 4pm to which the vet said he would do some blood
tests immediately and as they are limited there to what tests they can
do they would send some of her blood to the boffins with an overnight
courier.We received a phone call from the lady vet on duty about 45
minutes later to tell us that the tests they had done showed that
Phoebe was in kidney failure.
We
immediately went to the vets but on route she had another massive
seizure which had left her comatosed and she was on oxygen.We both went
in to say goodbye to her then i stayed with her while she went to sleep.
I
am relieved that they finally could tell us what was wrong with her as
we were thinking was it this...was it that.....but the vet said we were
absolutely blameless as Phoebe had been born like this hence her
kidneys had never fully developed hence her being so small for her age.

oh the poor little girl..sleep tight and sweet dreams phoebe..keep a watch over brody xx

I am so sorry to hear your sad news about Phoebe she can join my Oscar at Rainbow Bridge now and have lots of fun together, its only been 3 weeks since loosing mine so I know the pain you will be going through thinking of you xx

oh know .i am crying so much she was so young and i used to call her Trouble other twin along with gracie , she was so young which kind of makes it morre of a shock, will be thinking of you and your family , take care and lots of hugs to you

i read what happened to her to me oh n i was crying me eyes out how weird is that dont even know her but she was soo young its so sad ,,,still thinking of u ...least u know what was wrong n there was nothing u could have done (maybe that didnt sound right just hope u get what i mean) x

I cannot truly express how much eveyones kind words has meant to us but it has been a great comfort to know that Phoebe wont only be missed by us but by you lovely people too as i know you all enjoyed her video's.
It's still hard for the OH and myself but we have finally got our heads around the "shock" of it all.Brody still misses Phoebe but he is eating better as he was quite "hit & miss" with eating his meals after Phoebe's passing.
Once again many MANY thanks for thinking about us during this horrendous time and a very special THANK YOU to Jo (watts) she has been a rock to me and helped me tremendously. xxxxxxxx
