jessie birthday

hi

sunday would have been the day i had jessie for 14 years, we always called it

it her birthday Smile

.

i can still remember bringing her home from the dogs trust in her little cat basket.
and how she cried the first night for 3 hours and then again for 2 hours in the morning
when my dad went to work.

she trashed the house when she was a puppy!
new lino in the kitchen
carpet in hall, bedrooms, dinnning room
stripped the wall paper of walls
flattened a peace lily by sitting on it
and dug holes in the grass

but she was worth every minite and every pound. she didnt discover water till she was 8
and then became obssesed with it laughing

she lost her best friend holly when holly a rough collie died at 4 and half years old and
then jessie helped raise ellie another rough collie puppy.
i had two extra years with her after the addisons was diagnosed and throughout she loved
each visit to the vets, she was so brave .

sadly a stroke took my jessie this year so no birthday party this year.

Aww, she sound just as beautiful as she looks in that pic. What a sweetie, such a beautiful face she has. I'm sure you miss her. I dont wanna make you cry but can i share with you something a friend wrote to me when i lost my best mate ever, my rottie named Boris (aka boofa).

I'm so sorry for you, i understand your pain & even though this is heart wrenching it's beautiful & from the heart.

THE RAINBOW BRIDGE.

Just this side of heaven is a place called rainbow bridge. Its a place where animals who have been close to someone and passed go to live. There are meadows and hills for all our mates to run & play together. Streams & lakes to wade in, & there is always plenty of food & water, sunshine & toys, bones are delivered on a tuesday. It's a place where everyone is welcome to licks & kisses each other all the time. All are warm, comfortable, happy & healthy again.
All is perfect except for one thing, they miss that someone that was so very special to them who had to be left behind. They all run & play together, the fun, the joy, the love, it's a beautiful place. then one day, the day comes that they suddenly stop playing & look into the distance, their eyes are intent, their eagar body quivers, they are at full attention. What does she see? Suddenly she breaks away from the group, flying over the green, green grass, her legs carry her faster & faster, never before has she run so fast. YOU have been spotted, & when she finally meets you again you cling to each other in a joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon both your faces, your hands caress your girl, she licks your face & you both look once more into the trusting eyes of your best friend. So long apart but never far or absent from your heart.

Finally you cross the Rainbow Bridge together.

jessie's mum, you've got me crying to.

This is my boofa when he was about 2 yrs old. I lost him when he was 8yrs about 6.5 yrs ago & I will never forget him. that's why they are so special, because they touch our hearts & become a part of our world.
It's why we love them soooooo much. Because they are apart of our family. A dearly loved friend in the truest sense of the word.

today the day i have been dreading i have been out in the garden and put jessie stone by the pond and had a little chat with her.

Hope you wished her a happy birthday from us to. I know just what you mean about talking to her. My boof is burried at my mums house & I always say hello to him when i go there. Makes me feel so much better, even if a litle sad.

Awwwwww! I had boof cremated to. Am thinking of you. Place her ashes in a fav spot of hers where she'll be happy 4ever. There is nothing harder! My thoughts are with you & Jess! Hug
