Dexter RIP

Post by Deco#71 on Wed Jan 16, 2008 10:04 pm

Today poor Dexter the 3 legged local collie dog got knocked down in a tragic accident. A friend of mine was pickin me up to go to work and Dexter was chasing the van as per usual but as we were driving off he ran and slid under the van. I brought him straight to the vet and the vet said that his lung was punctured and gave him an injection to ease the pain. Found out where he lived and brought him up to the owner who was in a state, poor Dexter died in her arms. I felt so bad for her cos I'd hate for someone to knock on my door with one of my girls in a bad way. Hopefully that will never happen as they are never out wandering the streets.

I bet the driver too was devastated. How sad. At least you were kind enough to get help and also return him to his owner, which im sure was tough. Some would have left him in the gutter. Your very kind and big hearted.
