i made the picture smaller i need to tell everyone to make there picture smaller for the time beeing.

is that a staff rotty cross? what age is he? i like him he means business.

im trying to get it smaller m8t but im not proper onto all this yet like,sorry about that.

i made it msaller again i set the size of the forum so big picture wont fix on i'm sorry it a thing i will change later on

the picture is my cousins american pitbull called "psyco" he looks the part but apart from that he will lick you to death super friendly.

i have some videos of him he's proper strong like he will ahng on to a tree branch untill he snaps it or untill you pull him away,he has a one track mind as well soon as there is a female about you catch my drift...

If you live in the UK, please be careful about putting pictures up of Pit Bull types, there are people who trawl these boards to see if they can find them.

I love them and wouldn't like to see them end up the way many have done this year, one has recently been returned to his owner after being in police kennels for 6 months in a terrible state, full of infected sores.

thats why i got staffs,that way no cont can report my dogs cos if a jobs worth turnd up at my door trying to take my dog well lets just say hed be in for a sharp shock.........lol

how long are pits illegal in the uk?

around 10 years now i think or it could be longer.

thats mad...i wouldnt say it be long till they do it here. its alredy the law in the north.

but there been 10000s of pitbull been import into the country they getting called boxer X staffy or boxer x labs

ye i saw panorama that time and had imported a pit no bother.but i would hate for anything to happen to the dog...i suppose the dog would just be destroyed??? 10 breed of dog are illegal here but only in council estates in dublin city.

In Liverpool earlier this year when the police were grabbing all those dogs, most were Staffies, many had papers but it didn't matter, if they thought they looked like a Pit Bull the dog was taken. In one instance, the police went into a house to recover stolen property, saw the Staffy and took him as well, they then most the dog. Someone had taken him somewhere but nobody knew were:cry: Eventually the dog was found after several days. Just think what his owners went through.

if my memory is right thay aint band but you have to have a licence type thing for them have them rejesterd muzzild and harnessd up at all times....

Unfortunately they were banned when the DDA came into force. Those that already had them were allowed to keep them if they were neutered, tattooed and kept muzzled. Up to earlier this year no dogs were added to the register but with all the dogs taken, the register is open to any dog that has been to court and the magistrate says they can go on it. The dogs are not returned until after they have been neutered and tattooed and often a mess is made of this. The owner also has to pay these costs and don't have a choice of vet.
