Three's company - four's a crowd!!!
Hi, my name is Molly, I'm 2 years and 6 months old and I've been with Mum and Dad since I was just 8 weeks old. We have a ball!! I take Mum to lots of classes and we learn loads of new things together - she doesn't always get it right but I'm pretty patient so I let her catch up. We've got a great social life and I've got lots of friends who I visit on a regular basis and every other weekend we go out with lots of my friends and their humans for a run round and a bit of a play!!

We recently moved to a bigger den - it's huge compared to the last one!! Not long after we got here Mum went out one night, she was gone for hours and by the time she got home it was already dark outside.
As soon as she came in I could smell something different. It was a smell that I'd smelt before a few times when Mum and Dad had gone out for a few hours, but this time it was much stronger...
Then I saw it - all legs and needle sharp teeth, Jack. Mum said he was gonna be staying with us and finally let me have a good look at him and give him a good sniff all over. I wasn't too bothered, I just thought it was gonna be like when one of my friends came to stay for a few days, I assumed he would be here for a few nights and then everything would be back to normal, boy was I wrong!!!
That first night I stayed up most of the night keeping an eye on him - he was in a crate like I used to sleep in, nothing out of the ordinary, just like when my friends stay.
The second night - OMG, what a racket!!!
For such a small scruff he made quite some noise, he kept me awake most of the night!!! He kept that up for 4 whole nights before finally being quiet!!
I was my normal polite self, I humoured him when he pinched my toys or chewed on my ears, I even let the cheeky little devil share my basket - not for long mind you, I need my personal space!!!
But after 2 weeks of yipping, ear chewing and general annoyance, I started to realise this time was different. No-one had come to take him home like when my friends had stayed - that's when the penny dropped, he wasn't just staying with us, he was gonna be a new addition to the family....
I won't lie, I'd got used to having Mum and Dad all to myself and now suddenly this little pup was also getting fuss and attention. But Jack did come with some advantages - for instance, I've now got someone to run round the garden with, and when Mum and Dad go out I've got someone to keep me company - OK, so he is in a crate but I often sit next to him cos I remember how much I missed my bothers and sisters when I first came home.
It's been just over 3 months and I must admit, he's growing on me. I hate to admit it but I quite like it when he now joins me in my basket. Me and Mum still go to our usual classes but we've also started some new stuff too which means I still get some time just me and Mum which I really like.
He still gets on my nerves now and again but I guess that's pretty normal!!!
I've left some photos so you can see what I've had to put up with! - Mum is obssessed with her camera!
See what I mean about pinching my toys!! -

He takes up a lot of room for a puppy -

He's not all bad -

Re: Three's company - four's a crowd!!! Updated
Well, it's been 6 months now, and he's still here - I'm pretty sure he's not going anywhere anytime soon!!!!
I don't know what Mum's putting in his food but he's HUGE!!!! He's now just over 8 months old, he's taller than me and I overheard Mum saying the other day that he already weighs more than me - must be Miracle Grow or something!!!
He's gone from this -

To this -

And now look at him!!! -

He's quite good company actually - don't tell him I told you that!!!!
He still pushes his luck though - pinching my toys and spreading out in my basket - he has a perfectly good basket of his own but insists on lounging around in mine!!!
It's just the right size for me -

When he decides to join me he ends up 'spilling' out!! -

I must admit - it's good fun having someone to run round with when we go out for walks, those long legs of his do mean that he now gets to the ball before me when we play fetch, but I'm smarter than him and can PICK THE BALL UP rather than skidding past it at high speed - dipstick!!!!

Having to fight for my own toys, cheek! -

I've now gone to great lengths to keep hold of my favourite toy - I even sleep with it, just incase -

As for my new training, we're getting on quite well - I pick it up quicker than Mum but I'm quite patient and wait for her to catch up. I don't think we'll be wowing judges in the ring any time soon but at least it gives us both a break from Jack now and again!
I'll keep you posted, but so far so good.....
