Update on Dad

I don't think dad's got long to live now. He went in for a scan on Monday for his brain and said to mum he felt a bit ill after wards. On Tuesday He seemed ok but felt ill again and went to bed early afternoon and has not got out of bed since then. He's still in bed now. Mum had to clean him up as he was sick all over the sheets and he does not no where he is or who he is. It's very sad. We are going to try and put him in hospital in the morning as he's getting bad now, but I have a feeling he won't be coming out of it. Mum want's me to help him get him down stairs and in the car as he is heavy and she cant do this her shelf. I don't no what to think now.

Well we took him to hospital and things are not good. They said one of the brain tumours that's on his side behind the right ear has got bigger. It was mm big last time they did a scan that was in Aug and now 5cm big. And that is killing him of. It's swelling his brain so much. They said they can not do any more help now and say he has weeks maybe days to live. I didn't want to cry in front of them when they told me and mum this so got up set when they left and I was left by my shelf in the family room. Dad does not no this and I think it's best that he doesn't no.

so sorry to hear about your dad net, i lost my dad in may, he was in hospital too,we were going on hol to turkey, i didnt want to go, dad told me to go, we went on 16th may, he died 17th, great hol we had, my thoughts are with you net, keep your chin up,

Dad's funeral is on Wednesday 11th. We went to the Co-operative Funeralcare as this is what Dad wanted. They are really good and nice. Cost around £3000,00. It's so much hard work sorting out funeral things out. My sis is acting so stupid. Shouting at Mum and me. She was only a step child to him but she just want's to take over. As Mum says this was my Dad, she has a Dad that he's still alive. Why do family start when there is a death.

We had the same thing everyone wants to put their rotten 2cents worth in and all you want is peace and quiet to deal with things. It'll be over soon and things can settle

It's hard and sad but it does get better.
