How naff is this?

The OH just rang me to tell me the date of the christmas works do.

Now I hate this anyway, they are all idiots (last year I had to have a conversation about living with killer dogs and children and keep my temper with his boss so needless to say much of it was spent outside). they have it in this poxy place that thinks its kind of nouveau cuisine but stuck in an 80's timewarp - think prawn cocktails etc

, its all paid for plus we get £50 quid each for the bar (I swiftly pocket mine and drink water as I have to drive lol) they all get monumentally ratted and are sad old men in their 40's and 50's all of whom are single largely due to the smell, attitude and behaviour I would imagine! The only other women are the directors wives who travel from Ireland and down south to attend who are all sort of fur coat AND knickers type people so I fit in well as you can imagine. The boss has said that this all year all the women have to wear no black as he is fed up of us being dull at christmas. No one has told me what to wear since I wore a school uniform ffs.

Never one to miss a challenge, I've just ordered a Mrs Santa outfit off ebay, complete with hat, belt and dress and furry tops for boots

Its red isn't it not black?????

Sounds like it's going to be a fun night Watts! I was speaking to someone the other day who said that their OH's company was having their Christmas do next week, stupidly early!
