Rotating Images


Overview: The following tutorial explains how to rotate an image that has been uploaded into your Photobucket account. Photobucket is proud to announce an integration with FotoFlexer.com in order to provide our users with a robust image editing tool!
Requirements: You must be a Photobucket account holder and have content currently uploaded into your account.
Note: Currently, this functionality only works for images.

Steps to Take:

1. Open the Photobucket site at http://www.photobucket.com
   Enter your username and password at the top of the page, then click the log in button to log into your Photobucket account.
   
2. Select the albums & upload button from the menu at the top of your album.
   Note: You can also select the edit images button from the menu and go right into the image editor.
   
   
3. Click the thumbnail, or the edit link for the image that you would like to rotate.
   Note: By clicking the thumbnail of the image, you can access the basic rotate options, however, if you click the edit link, you'll be taken into the image editor for advanced options.
   
   
4. Click the rotate button to do a basic rotation of the image in your Photobucket account.
   Click the edit image button for more advanced controls. From the list of options on the drop down menu select rotate.
   
   
5. Once inside the image editor, you have several options for rotating your file that can be found in the 'Basic' tab. Select any combination of 'Rotate or 'Flip' that is to your liking!
   
   
6. When you are ready to save your changes and go back into your Photobucket account, you will have the option to either 'Replace original' or 'Save a copy' of your image. Replacing the original image will save the changes to the original file in your album, essentially replacing it with the new one. Saving a copy of your image will create a new image in your account with the modifications that you have made to the file. This option is strongly recommended if you wish to keep your original in tact.
   After making this selection, your file will be saved and you will be taken back into your Photobucket account.
