Generating HTML & IMG Code

Overview: The following tutorial explains how to use the Generate HTML & IMG Code button to link files from Photobucket.
Requirements: You must be a Photobucket account holder. You must have images already uploaded into your account. Steps to Take:

  1. Open the Photobucket site at http://www.photobucket.com
Enter your username and password at the top of the page, then click the log in button to log into your Photobucket account.
  2. Select the albums & upload button from the menu at the top of your album.

  3. Select the content that you would like to generate HTML for by checking the radio box beneath the thumbnail image.
Note: Select several files this way to generate multiple codes at a time.

  4. Click on the "Generate HTML and IMG code" button at the bottom of your album.

  5. All of the Generated HTML codes for your file, or files, that you selected will show up on this page. You will need to copy the appropriate code and paste it into the relevant field where you would like to display the image.

  6. HTML clickable thumbnails for eBay, LiveJournal, MySpace, etc - The HTML is automatically generated to publish your selected images and allow them to be clickable links that go to your Photobucket album. This is good for most social network pages, blogs, and auctions.

  7. HTML images for eBay, LiveJournal, MySpace, etc - The HTML is automatically generated to publish your selected images and does NOT allow for them to be clickable links that go to your Photobucket album. This is good for most social network pages, blogs, and auctions.

  8. IMG clickable thumbnails for message boards - The HTML is automatically generated to publish your selected images and allow them to be clickable links that go to your Photobucket album. This is good for most message board systems which may not allow for regular HTML.

  9. IMG images for message boards - The HTML is automatically generated to publish your selected images and does NOT allow for them to be clickable links that go to your Photobucket album. This is good for most message board systems which may not allow for regular HTML.

  10. URL's for email, Yahoo messenger, AOL messenger, etc - These links may be copied and pasted to email, or instant messenger to share each specific image hosted by Photobucket.
