I have to do Rocco's as no matter how much he is walked etc, he just does not wear them down. I have tried walking him on concrete, gravel etc for a couple of hours each day and still nothing!!! Think he must be flat footed! I have to clip Dixie's dew claw every 4 months or so, just to keep them getting too sharp. Just wondered how many people have to have their dogs nails cut either by a vet or by themselves.

I never half to have any of mine trimmed, they all have very short claws and seem to keep them short themselves without my help.

However this bugged me greatly for two reasons 1. Should a fight break out in my house i would have nothing to grab hold of 2.
