I found this on the Daily Mirror on Friday. I didn't have time to put it up but do now. They say it's not a staff but a cross breed terrier, so really they mean a staff but don't want to say it is. Here it is.

Shocking CCTV shows a blind woman's guide dog being savaged by a bull terrier-type dogat a station. The woman, 57 walked through an underpass when the unleashed cross-breed ran at her labrador, leaving it with deep neck wounds. The owner kicked his dog to make it let go but gave up ...

My name is Louise, aged too old to mention.

Myself, my husband and two lovely daughters aged 6 and 9 live in the Central Coast of NSW (about 1.5 hours north of Sydney).

Sadly, our beloved Alsatian/Kelpie cross Katy died 3 weeks ago from a brain tumour at the respectable age of 12, and having wept everytime we looked out at our back garden, we chose a staffie puppy for our next 'forever dog'.

We pick her up next Saturday and have spoilt her already in terms of toys, treats and ...

Its been three days since the operation and i am happy to report that Charlie is doing well. She has finally gone to the loo which was worrying me but now i can rest knowing all is fine.

For the first two days she was very reluctant to put weight on her leg but day three and she can walk around like nothing happened . For me this is good news as it means that her bones are being stimulated enough and the sensors within them should now be responding to the break and starting the healing ...

Just wanted a general opinion really, we've just a had a letter through from the vets with reminder for a 6 month check up, do people always take their dogs every 6 months? I might not usually have asked and would just take her but bearing in mind she was only spayed about 3 weeks ago I don't know if she'd need the check up etc? I'll probably end up taking her just cause I'm a big worrier and want the best but wanted to know what other people did too.

So...

I'm a little worried about him.

I've noticed for a long time (since we got him) he walks a little sidewards. Like his right back leg (looking from behind) is a little stiff and his butt goes to the side.

Its hard to explain.

But it doesnt look like its bothering him.

And when he runs sometimes his backlegs goes at the same time, like both legs lift up at the same time.. and he looks like a kangaroo

oh wow I'm horrible to explain.

Do you guys think there ...

Vix

I was looking at your website & noticed you allow the dogs some time to socialise before training; they don't seem to like this where we have been before & tbh, it is the main reason we go.

Are you running any classes at the moment or will December 17th be the next available date to enrolement?

This is for Buster by the way; not Millie who we have the BB guy for.

Thanks

Within 5 mins we were all exchanging pictures. 3 of them had staffies and one had an EBT as well and another had a rottie as well :-) I was really, really pleased and got my piccies out and got LOADS of compliments re my babies.

Just thought i would share that with you all

Becky, Staffie, 2 years old

Her Story: Becky was found stray in West London about 4 miles from her home. She was micro-chipped so her owners were contacted and arrived at the vets to basically turn around and say they didn't want her anymore. She was great with the grandchildren and warm affectionate dog but they didn't have time for her.

Salient points: Slender happy Staffie newly spayed. People and child friendly. Hasn't been socialised with dogs. Clean and non destructive.

Evette, Brindle&White Staffie, 3 years old

Her Story: Evette was found stray with her friend Marie. They have stayed together since and we will home them both in with another dog as unlikely to get a home for both.

Salient points: Young Staffie 2 years old. Good condition. Gentle solid nature. good with people and dogs. Unassessed within a domesticated situation.

Advert Evette is a darling. She presents as an observant, gentle and calm dog within the kennelled situation. ...
