Becky, Staffie, 2 years old

Her Story: Becky was found stray in West London about 4 miles from her home. She was micro-chipped so her owners were contacted and arrived at the vets to basically turn around and say they didn't want her anymore. She was great with the grandchildren and warm affectionate dog but they didn't have time for her.

Salient points: Slender happy Staffie newly spayed. People and child friendly. Hasn't been socialised with dogs. Clean and non destructive.

Hello There

Do you know of any rescues that will take on "type" dogs in the Northamptonshire area.

Today i looked at a lovely young dog (18months) for Stafford Rescue but unfortunatly he is not a Stafford and as Breed rescue is just that they are unable to help.

This dog is amazing and in need of a home ASAP as the lady of the home is not as confident handling him as his owner and as a result he is quite dominant over her.

But that said he had an amazing temperament, ...

Buster is a 12 month old male who has been abandoned with a broken leg. Unfortunately his leg was left that long that it now has to be amputated and he will hopefully undergoing the Op this week, after which he will be ready for his new home. After care costs for the leg will be covered by the vets.

Buster has a fantastic temperament but as yet has not been cat or other dog tested and I will update the post once he has been assessed by rescue.

Just a Staffy Cross.

Today is just another day - to me they're all the same

I have the worst of genes you see, I bear the "Staffy" shame.

The shame is in our numbers, there's thousands with no home.

Thousands just like me you'll find, in kennels all alone.

Mum, too, became unwanted, as the last puppy goes.

And then begins the process, of money-making deals

A life of "moving on" unfolds, who ...
