Re: Dog friendly days out...
We have 18 yr old, 15 year old and 12 year old, plus the most important Eric the staff
The first two that cme to mind:-
Forest of Dean. days out or Camping ,Walking,
Sculpture trails (huge kind of sculptures that the kids can play on)
Coopers Farm in Edale Valley (peak district)
Farm with just a few sheep in a seperate field.
Fabulous walks/scrambles up and down waterfalls (our kids love it)
Has three, dog friendly pubs that do food, in walking distance.
If I think of any more I will add to.

New forest is fab if you can get this far lol. A place called moors valley with lakes and mini railway and walks is good to.

Re: Dog friendly days out...
Just to point out that post is actually nearly a year old lol look at the size of Lola in that sig ahhhhhhhhhh!!!
Heacham Beach in Norfolk is dog friendly as are parts of hunstanton beach. Coombe Martin is a no no unless you use the private john fowler site beach and ilfracombe is very anti dog. Generally speaking if it is a blue flag beach it means no dogs or at the least dog restrictions. We're off to wales next week and aberdovey beach has restrictions on dogs in certain parts but I'll try and find some "out of the way little beaches" whilst we are there.
Lots of cornwall has restrictions and the best place I've seen for being dog friendly is south wales.

Yeh way to go South Wales, yes we have Pembrey country park, brilliant most of the beaches have areas where dogs can go, even my local beach LLanstephan has a big area where dog can go all year round.

Hi Grasmere in the lake district is very dog friendly. We went there this year for a week before we got sadie. The pubs allowed dogs in also 2 of the bigger hotels allowed dogs to stay. Plenty of people out walking with there owners.
