Thank you for them Big grin

I have a caravan and tow it all over the country, some caravan sites are a lot better than others and many commercial sites charge extra for dogs. I have known a charge of £5 per night per dog on some sites. The Caravan Club and the Camping and Caravan Club sites don't charge extra for dogs and there is not limit to the amount of dogs you can take.

Hi, Thanks for posting all the holiday info on dog friendly locations. We have been searching for ages trying to find any decent homes. We find that when you do ,its normally a 1940"s caravan at the end of he site with no roof on and full of chickens Lol. puppy dog eyes

Dumbledown Farm in North Wales is very popular with dog owners, I will try and find the web site. Everyone who has been there raves about it.

There is also a small flat at St Ives in Cornwall which is very dog friends. If anyone is interested I can contact the owner and ask for her contact details.

We have jus enquired about a site in North Yorkshire and on there website it said 'acceptable breeders' so I emailed the site owner and asked what 'acceptable breeder' were and they emailed me back asking what breed I was enquiring about - I then emailed back stating we had two staffordshire bull terrier and the email I got in reply was that the breed was find but they would prefer us to take our holiday in off peak times as at peak times they had a lot of children on the site Grrrrrrr

Needless to say I will not be making a booking with is site sad
